SKI OR RIDE ON THE SLOPES

Trailblazer is in central Bright and only 45 min to Mt Buffalo or 1 hour 20 min to Mt Hotham and Falls Creek. Catch the bus to the snow and then return home to beautiful Bright. If it's not ski-weather, there's plenty of things to do in Bright instead.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

You won't run out of trails to ride at Bright. There are trails starting at Trailblazer's doorstep . You can head into Mystic Mountain Mountain Bike Park just down the road or Mt Beauty Mountain Bike Park only 20 min away. You don't need a dedicated Mountain Bike Park to ride here. There are trails EVERYWHERE, open to riders, hikers and of course mountain bikers.

HIKING

There are countless short walks around Bright. Enjoy the Cherry Walk along the river, just 200m from Trailblazer's door step. Or try the more challenging hikes up Mt Buffalo (45 min drive). You will find trails and lookouts to suit all ages of explorers around Bright and Mt Buffalo.

ADVENTURE PLAYGROUNDS

Centenary Park is packed with action: giant water slides, a river splash park and a nature playground at its best. Centenary Park is teeming with life with live music spilling over from the riverside cafe's and families enjoying holidays. Just a short 7 min riverside walk will put you in the middle of the heart of the action in Bright.

EXPLORE BEAUTIFUL BACKCOUNTRY

Hire a bike (or an electric bike if you need) and explore the valley on the Rail Trail. You could even join a tour and visit local wineries for lunch on your rail trail adventure.

EXHILARATING VIEWS

You can stand behind the fence with the kids at these spectacular Mt Buffalo views or you can head over the edge with one of the local adventure groups. Either way, you will feel the rush of just being in the Victorian high country.

BRIGHT BREWERY

Located on Centenary Park and on the river foreshore, the Bright Brewery is a must visit more than once destination. Grab one of their famous gourmet pizzas and a tasting paddle. Think about rescheduling that RDO to a Monday and enjoy the Sunday afternoon live band on the deck. Perfect. This is why you come to Bright.

GUMTREE PIES

The Pepper Steak Gumtree Pie is a must-do for a quick lunch after a good morning's ride or walk around town. It's worth waiting for if the pies are sold out! They are the just the best!

THE GINGER BAKER

The Ginger Baker is Destination Number One after that leisurely stroll along the river into town. It's the place to grab that morning coffee and watch the world go by along the river foreshore. Sit back in the gardens and watch children at the Splash Park, cyclists on the riding track and families playing in and by the river.
